GROUP MEDICAL, DENTAL, VISION, 401 K, LIFE INSURANCE PAID HOLIDAYS AND VACATIONS


Responsible forproviding guest service that result in sales of gift shop merchandise and promotions. Will cashier, replenish stock, arrange displays and provide information on Wild horse Resort &  Casino events.

Duties:

1.Ensure customer satisfaction and casino play through prompt, efficient and friendly service.

2.Greets and acknowledge guests approaching the gift shop in a pleasant manner.

3.Provide assistance to guests, including describing displayed and promotional items.

4.Responsible for checking out an imprest bank and all cash transactions on that shift.

5.Accept payment for sales and operate cash register as directed.

6.Responsible for staying current on all marketing promotions to give accurate information to guests, including drawing registrations, coupons and event tickets.

7.Checks in all merchandise received: item's stock number and number of items received and condition of merchandise.

8.Display gift shop items in an organized, tidy manner and replenish supply as needed.

9.Constantly attends to tidiness of shop and keeps items off floor/out of walkway.

10.Inform supervisor of supply needs and assist with stocking of new items/restocking of current.

11.Will assist with inventory control, following established procedures and assisting with the month end inventory.

12.Must be able to lift and maneuver heavy, bulky items onto shelving, including overhead.

13.Assists Supervisor in the setup of merchandise displays.

14.Promote guest service by handling inquiries and requests, defer any conflicts to supervisor.

15.Comply with regulatory laws, PP&P, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.

16.Promotes a clean, safe and healthy work environment for employees and guests.  Promptly reports all concerns to Supervisor

17.Ensure that operation of equipment, tools and materials are handled in a safe manner.

18.Promote internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.

19.Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1.Six (6) months cash handling and (6) months of customer service experience.

2.High School Diploma or GED

3.Physical ability to stand for long periods: handle and maneuver bulky 50 pound boxes; work in a noisy, smoky environment and able to perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands and fingers.

4.Effective communication skills - verbally able to provide instruction, respond to questions, and have exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.

5.Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaning a positive attitude toward all employees and guest

6.Requires a High Security Gaming License clearance and at least 18 years of age.
